ABOUT THE PTA

Welcome new and returning families to East Side Elementary School, PS 267! We invite and encourage you to participate in our school in any and every way you can. As a parent/guardian of a child attending PS 267, you are automatically a member of the PS 267 PTA, a non-profit organization.

The PTA is dedicated to supporting our school through fundraising initiatives, building community
engagement and inclusivity, facilitating communication, and working closely with our principal, Ms.
Medea McEvoy. You will find many opportunities to make a difference in your child’s education and
overall school experience.

What Does the PTA Spend Money On?

PS 267 PTA EXPENSE CHART

Child/Parent Speaker Series: 3-4 per year

Staff Hospitality: Teacher/Staff luncheons, dinners, and end-of-year gifts

Classroom Technology: Digital subscriptions, learning resources, Promethean boards, computers, tablets

Teacher Development: Staff workshops and professional development

Enrichment Programs: Music, chess, STEM, recess coaches

School Support: Classroom materials, art supplies, furniture
